in our years of gathering footage, we’ve found that creativity thrives in uncharted territory, and the best stories are told when we’re just having fun.

The experience you have throughout your celebration is just as important as the films we create to remember it. Just as we want to align on our vision, we also want to be sure that we're a solid fit in terms of how we document.

The Experience

  • We’ve learned that being type-A on the front end means we can be type-B down the road. This diligence early on allows us to do what we do best when the day arrives: have fun alongside you! Ultimately, our biggest focus is making sure your experience feels relaxed & authentic to you.

  • The last thing we want for your wedding is for it to feel like a movie set. We keep this top of mind when choosing what equipment we'll be bringing, packing only what we need and using gear with the smallest footprint possible, without sacrificing quality. We're all about planning ahead & making adjustments to create the best image, but we won't interrupt a moment for the sake of perfection.

  • Audio is a major component to creating a film that transports you right back to the wedding day. Like our cameras, we prefer to keep things low key when it comes to capturing sound. That said, we're all about having multiple sources to ensure there are always backups in place.

While our cameras have mics on them, we also love placing hidden mics on you & your partner.

Our favorite method for recording the ceremony & toasts is working closely with the DJ. When possible, we plug into their systems, in addition to placing small recorders directly on handheld mics as a backup.

  • We consider ourselves documentarians, so for much of the day we simply follow the action as it happens. That said, many of the couples we work with like to have fun with some editorial-style direction here and there! At the end of the day, it's entirely up to you how much you'd like the coverage to be truly documentarian, and how often you'd like us to offer up an idea. Either way, we know how to create the magic you came here for.

  • Wether we've worked with the photographer before or not, it's always super helpful to link up with them prior to the wedding day so we can better understand each other's shooting style. Since we've started doing this, documenting has never been smoother for both us and the photographers we work alongside!
