documentary films For the analog loving, hardcore celebrating, madly-in-love types
in our years of gathering footage, we’ve found that creativity thrives in uncharted territory, and the best stories are told when we’re just having fun.
The experience you have throughout your celebration is just as important as the films we create to remember it. Just as we want to align on our vision, we also want to be sure that we're a solid fit in terms of how we document.

The Experience
-
We’ve learned that being type-A on the front end means we can be type-B down the road. This diligence early on allows us to do what we do best when the day arrives: have fun alongside you! Ultimately, our biggest focus is making sure your experience feels relaxed and authentic to you.
-
The last thing we want for your wedding is for it to feel like a movie set. We keep this top of mind when choosing what equipment we'll be bringing, packing only what we need and using gear with the smallest footprint possible, without sacrificing quality. We're all about planning ahead and making adjustments to create the best image, but we won't interrupt a moment for the sake of perfection.
-
Audio is a major component in creating a film that transports you right back to your wedding day. Like our cameras, we prefer to keep things low key when it comes to capturing sound. That said, we're also all about having multiple sources to ensure there are backups in place.
-
For much of the day we simply follow the action as it happens—this is our documentarian approach. That said, many of the couples we work with like to have fun with some editorial-style direction here and there! At the end of the day, it's entirely up to you how much you'd like the coverage to be truly documentarian, and how often you'd like us to offer up an idea. Either way, we know how to create the magic you came here for.
-
We consider ourselves as part of a team of documentarians—it’s important to us that we work well with your photographer!
We’ll connect with them ahead of your wedding day to introduce ourselves and answer any questions they may have.
