Our filming style is documentarian, but we love creating fun moments & will offer light editorial direction if it’s the vibe. This means for 90-100% of the day we don’t pose you, micro-adjust, or intervene in the natural flow of the day. That other 10% is ultimately up to you!

Simply put, our top priority is making sure the experience of being filmed is just as great as the film we’ll create for you!

Highlights created entirely with super 8 are often in the 3-6 minute range, while mixed medium collections are anywhere from 6-12 minutes.

The final runtime of your highlight will largely depend on what we’re covering, and for how long! Single day celebrations tend to be on the shorter end of the spectrum, while collections that have additional coverage (e.g. rehearsal dinner, story sessions) tend to be longer.

We’re usually good at estimating how long a film with be, but we ultimately prefer to edit freely & prioritize pacing over hitting a specific runtime. To give you an idea while maintaining creative freedom, we always list your highlight film with a minimum runtime rather than a specific range.

We’re more interested in covering your celebration fully than we are in counting the hours, so we offer coverage starting at a full day and let you add on from there.

Additional coverage often looks like story sessions, welcome parties, and rehearsal dinners!

For weddings outside of Columbus, Ohio there will be a travel fee included in your proposal, calculated based on the location.

For any collection covered on both digital & super 8, audio coverage is a given. For film only collections, audio (other than a score) is not generally included in highlights, but you’ll have the option to add it on separately.

If you’d like a music only film, super 8 is the direction we’d send you in!

Collections typically include two filmmakers (Emily & Sarah) unless otherwise noted. For celebrations with less than 100 guests, we will occasionally build a collection where just Emily is filming, depending on the circumstance!

For every piece of equipment we have, a backup is always available.

This means having a second and third camera body, a rotation of lenses to choose from, and a variety of audio sources available at all times.

Aside from being a second filmmaker on wedding days, Sarah’s specialty is working closely with other vendors & managing logistics to ensure a smooth celebration.

This looks like checking in with coordinators & planners, DJs, photographers, and any other vendors necessary to make sure we’re on the same page. This often looks like a simple check in & answering any questions they have for us!

We’re a video first brand, but from time to time we’ll take on a photo & video wedding.

We understand that it can be tough to make decisions for an event happening months or even years in advance. We offer plenty of guidance on our initial call, but sometimes things change! To make it easier, we’re super flexible with adjusting collections down the road.

Since every celebration looks different, we build custom collections for every couple we meet!

Once we have understand more about your plans, we'll build three collections based on what's important to you. Once you review those options, we make any necessary tweaks until we have the perfect fit!

Most collections we build start around $9k, but can ultimately range from one wedding to another. To have us create custom options for you, start by sending us a message!
